Format

The content is delivered in an interactive format with different activities that cater for different learning styles and abilities.

Opening Karakia: Each lesson begins with an opening karakia. This is to focus intentions, clear negativity, and create a positive mood.

Success criteria: Key learning outcomes and lesson overview enable ākonga to be prepared for the content.

Content: Lessons are interactive, enabling ākonga to experiment with different digital tools, watch videos, undertake research projects, and read about AI and environmental sustainability.

Assessments: Quizzes, assignments and small projects track the progress and understanding of ākonga. Quizzes are self-marking, providing instant feedback, while assignments serve as evidence of participation.

Learning Outcome Checklist: At the end of each lesson, ākonga complete a checklist linked to the success criteria. This encourages reflection, allowing them to identify and acknowledge the skills they have developed during the lesson.

Closing Karakia: A closing karakia helps wrap up the lesson, affirm the learning, and express gratitude.
